Hey I'm Phil...an umami enthusiast, a dad, a foodie

   It all started when I was a kid, when I tasted my first pot roast, or was it a pot-sticker I made from one of my mom's favorite cookbook, or that cup o noddles with that delicious broth.......its that LINGER, that TASTE, that YUMMY DELCIOUSNESS.  I have ALWAYS LOVED UMAMI, that FLAVOR that grabs you, it hooked me instantly.  And it hooked you too, way back when!

  ....We're hooked on it from birth it seems! 

   When we are babies, we drink lots of mother's milk (or formula)...and these nutrient dense superfoods are UMAMI PACKED!  We naturally crave things with umami!

   It was this realization that inspired me when we were transitioning our daughter from milk to solid foods, that NATURAL Umami FLAVOR was going to be the KEY to making her food irresistible.  Turns out it's true, its called OOOMOMMEE MAGIC now.
